We took some quick pictures for a friend who got an early Christmas present so she could get out her Christmas cards that she handmade.  Talk about super mom!  Enjoy their precious addition….

We got hit with about two feet of snow this past weekend which is HUGE for NOVA.  Still don’t own a snow shovel so Robert swept my car out Saturday morning and we trudged through unplowed streets to my parents house to borrow a shovel to do the rest of the work.  We had great friends who put up with a self invited visit and served us yummy chili and cornbread.  I worked on Sunday and quoting my colleague, the snow makes us nurses contemplate a career change to education.  We then crashed other friends’ house that night who treated us with tim tam slams and hot chocolate.  While we were out and about we got some fun shots of the winter wonderland…

Turns out galoshes are great for the rain and not so great for the snow….my feet were FREEZING!!!

The poor little bug had to wait another day or two to get shoveled out…

Our good friends Bryan and Alana host a Murder Mystery Party each December.  The theme this year was Murder in Margaritaland.  Here are a few shots I took in my role as the “mama”razi….

This brave family took on the rain for a quick family shoot in Old Town.  We missed the snow by an hour but still got some great shots despite the weather.  Check out the rest here.

We had a fabulous time with the rest of Cameron’s family at the Grist Mill.  Julie said she didn’t have a creative eye for this sort of thing but she picked a perfect location and dressed her family in the most adorable (handsome for the boys) outfits.  How could we not help but get great shots of them?  Just a couple of shots to get your ready for the rest of them this weekend….

Alysson and Carson were such little troopers during a chilly session in Georgetown this weekend.   From freezing fingers to stumbles on the cobblestones they smiled through it all.  Enjoy a sneak preview with more to be posted later this week….
